Join us September 27th to check out the Great Lakes Surf Craft book, see the GLSC surfboard collection, and bid on great-lakes-made surfboards in a silent auction. Auction proceeds will go to benefit Save the Dunes a local organization working for the wellbeing of our Great Lakes and our region's unique dunes ecosystem.

Great Lakes Surf Craft is a book that celebrates the work of our region’s surfboard shapers and aims to strengthen the lake-surfing community and culture by connecting Great Lakes shapers, surfers, and coastal communities.

With funding from the University of Illinois at Chicago and the support of Kickstarter backers, Ted Burdett, Jen Wandro, and Ben Sass commissioned a unique collection of surfboards from Great Lakes shapers. Great Lakes Surf Craft shares the creative work of these shapers through the documentation of their design and building process.
